This Tow Behind Tiller was worth every red cent that we paid for it. Hubby tilled our veggie garden in record time this year. We have a walk behind rototiller and, in the past, what he did in 3 days this season would have taken weeks. Do we recommend this item? You betcha!
This is very heavy and aggresive. July 29, 2010 Teersa Kramer (Oklahoma, California) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This tow behind tiller is very heavy, I can't lift it to attach it to my ATV. I'm 5'7 130lbs.
Once attached to the ATV it hangs very heavy on the hitch. The tiller does not rest on the wheels, like it shows in the picture.
It's very aggresive and moves the hitch around so you have to tighten it every few minutes. The tine engage handle would get stuck under the back of the ATV so we bought a better hitch assembly at the hardware store. This attachment worked much better, was heavy duty, and longer.
Our ground is pretty soft, sand. The tiller jumped all over the place and dug in on one side which made it so we had to stop, get off the ATV, disengage the tines, and move away from the hole that the tiller dug.
The ground had to be really churned up before you could turn corners or the tiller would just dig into the dirt and get stuck.
I wouldn't buy this again or reccommend it to anyone.
